Why would a HUGE SUCCESSFUL company like Verizon partner with La Raza and invest as much as $ 2.2 Million when people are accusing them of being racist and supporting illegal immigrants? Could it be because these are really fake accusation, and smart people that run such a huge corporation know the truth? What do you reflect?

WASHINGTON, DC – The Verizon Foundation is providing $ 2.2 million in grants to the National Council of La Raza (NCLR) and the National Urban League to fund the creation of an innovative, formalized after-school program by resources from Verizon’s Thinkfinity.org.
The initiative, announced Wednesday (Oct. 8), is designed to increase achievement and graduation tariff among minority students, by culturally sensitive educational resources with an emphasis on literacy, math and science. The program marks the first time the National Council of La Raza and the National Urban League have partnered on a major education initiative.
“For today’s students to gain the valuable educational base they need to succeed, learning cannot end when the school day ends,” said Verizon Foundation President Patrick Gaston. “Every moment presents a learning opportunity, and after-school programs must capitalize their time with students to engage, educate, and inspire them to excel.”

Verizon is giving back to the community. That is a excellent thing but that is not a reason to support illegal immigration. Being a minority does not mean that you are an illegal immigrant.

NCLR support hispanics regardless of their immigration status.

They are not, specifically, selection americans they are selection HISPANICS regardless of their immigration status. They should take this program down to mexico where I am sure it would be greatly appreciated. Or maybe the Verizon Corp could fund an additional 2.2 for legal americans who are not of hispanic decent.

La Raza has a large list of global corporations that give philanthropic contributions to this group.. Not a real hard concept to know.. In marketing it is called rising you target demographic… Verizon gives money to La Raza, La Raza promotes race obsessed immigration through BS called the Reconquista,More illegals hop the fence, and Verizon has more customers calling home at international long space tariff… Simple chain of events to follow. I know that this is going to draw some sort of La Raza defense statement, but what the hell, I thought I would try to teach you something… AGAIN… It could also be looked at as a corporation excellent faith PR….Verizon is going to get a nice small advertising spot for free on La Raza websites and publications for “X” amount of years for this… This would be in line with paying for an ad in the local paper for the same amount of time… I despise to break it to you, but, this is just one more example of you getting played….

I reflect it is absolutely fabulous when ANY establishment puts their “best foot forward” to help better the education of our children – regardless of their race. The fact that Verizon partnered with La Raza makes me reflect that La Raza is not as radical as many people reflect.
